Software Tester / Quality Assurance Specialist

StarLaw seeks a high-energy individual to fill the position of Software Tester / Quality Assurance Specialist within StarLaw’ Product Development group.

The successful candidate will work directly with developers to test and report software development progress.  Candidate will work with a small team of Engineers, Analysts and Product Development Director.

Education:
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
 
Experience:     
Candidate should have at least two years working in a technical environment or related experience. Candidate must be able to demonstrate experience which required attention to detail and the ability to work in team environment under deadlines.
 
Required Skill Set:
·        Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
·        Experience with automated and black-box testing.
·        Familiarity with automated test tools like Silk, Rational Robot, WinRunner, etc…
·        Understanding and familiarity of performance testing techniques.
·        C++ knowledge (required for developing of test pilot applications and performance testing)
·        A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook applications.
